Visiting the Club

Located on the edge of England's first ever Garden City, not far from the A1, and just a short drive down leafy Letchworth Lane, the course is set in beautiful undulating countryside. The Heritage Course is a true parkland course, well renowned for its firm fast greens and tree lined fairways, and is amongst the best the county has to offer.  Host to the Hertfordshire County Championships in 2020 and Men's County Foursomes in 2021, the Club is also the home venue for the Hertfordshire Men's 1st team, as well as County Boys & Girls squads.

Accommodation  

We have various options where those traveling from a distance, can stay near to the course and experience an overnight stay and play.

Dress Code

A reasonable standard of dress is required on both our courses, Heritage and Academy and in the clubhouse by members and visitors. Please note our current dress code policy - click HERE to view

Food & Beverage

We have a beautifully refurbished Clubhouse, with a first-class team ready and willing to take care of your needs.
Gareth, our Clubhouse Manager and his team will serve you your drinks and prepare a wide range of snacks and meals for you to enjoy during your visit to our Club. Please do ring in advance so that we can make sure we cater for your needs.

Comprehensive Practice Facilities

There is a 30 acre driving range with chipping green and representative practice bunkers.
In front of the Clubhouse is a practice putting green set up to reproduce the same putting conditions as the Hertitage Course.

Full Support

Everyone at the Club works to make your golfing experience as enjoyable as possible.  We do not operate a tee time booking system, but rather a roll up system. Between the Pro-Shop and Office teams we are able to provide you with all your golfing needs and ensure your golf or society event runs like clockwork on the day.
Before your game why not make use of our practice facility and, of course, please feel free to relax in the bar or on our spacious patio after your game where Gareth and his team will be delighted to serve you with a wide range of snacks before and after you play.
